To relax UVs using the Smooth UV Tool
- From the UV Texture Editor toolbar, turn on the distortion shader . See Identify UV distortion.
The UV Texture Editor shades areas of your UV mesh that are squashed or stretched, making it easy to identify areas you need to relax.
- In the UV Texture Editor, select the UVs or UV shell you want to relax.
- From the UV Texture Editor menus, turn on the Smooth UV Tool (Tool > Smooth UV Tool).
Two controls appear at the bottom-left of the selected UVs.
- Drag the box labelled Relax. The further you drag, the more the selected UVs relax.
