These options appear as a subset of the Tubes section in the Paint Effects Brush Settings window, and the Attribute Editor for any brush node.
As part of the growth simulation, tubes can sprout branches, twigs, leaves, flowers, and buds. Although you can apply these settings literally to simulate plant growth, you can also use the growth pattern to create other interesting effects. For example, a dripping watercolor effect can be achieved using branches. Use the Growth options to select what grows off of tubes.
Turn this option on to split tubes into branches.
Turn this option on to grow twigs on tubes or branches.
Turn this option on to grow leaves along tubes or branches.
Turn this option on to grow flowers along tubes or branches.
Turn this option on to grow buds at the tips of branches and leaves.
Sets the X, Y, and Z position of the sun's direction. Sun Direction is the reference point for the Flower Face Sun and Leaf Face Sun attributes.
