The calculation of each surface is made transparent by detailed listing of all sub areas.
Apart from automatic detection of objects and sub areas, you can add further objects manually. You can illustrate situations with no constructive equivalent in the drawing, by numerical definition or graphical selection of lines.
You also define a wall height reduction on a per-room basis, in order to calculate the material requirements in case of reflected ceilings.
All sub areas can be modified manually, including materials. This allows to handle exceptions to the rule and special situations.
Surface material types contain material definitions for walls, slabs, ceilings, and room perimeter, which are typically assigned to particular rooms (for example, bathroom, habitable room carpet, and so on). This allows you to assign surface materials to rooms with one click.
Material requirements are listed per space, per zone, and in total.
Additionally, it supports DWF export which later can be opened and edited in Autodesk Quantity Takeoff (QTO).
As an alternative, the Roombook data can be exported as CSV.
It is also possible to write the Roombook calculations into a Schedule.
