Creates new components, component views, folders, and annotation views, using a dialog box.
You create a component, component view and folder definition by selecting objects, specifying the basepoint and giving it a name. You create annotation views by generating it off an existing component definition. You can also use this command to insert a mechanical structure object (using an existing definition) into the drawing.
You can use either AMSCREATE or AMSNEW to create components, component views, folders, and annotation views. AMSCREATE uses the command line and browser shortcuts to create structure elements. AMSNEW uses a dialog box.
