Frame the scene with a camera

In order to produce a useful render, you'll need the frame to contain all the necessary objects in the scene. You'll usually do this by pointing the camera at them manually, or by directing it to point at a frame of reference (e.g. an object or locator).

To look at and fill the camera view with a region of a scene

  1. Select the camera view you want to frame. See Switch Camera views.
  2. Ctrl +Alt-drag over the region.
  3. The camera moves to fill the camera’s view with the selected region. See also Frame Selected Objects.

  4. To make the current camera the active selected camera, choose Camera > Select camera. A thin white outline surrounds the view.
