Previewing setup sheets

Previewing is a quick way to see if you are satisfied with the current look of the setup sheets.

When you choose the Preview option from the Setup Sheets context menu, PowerMill generates a number of temporary HTML files in the project folder, and opens the PowerMill Browser tab displaying the created setup sheets in two frames:

Index frame enables you to navigate between the generated HTML sheets. It displays the Table-of-Contents.html file, which is automatically generated by PowerMill. The NC programs are listed in the order in which they appear in the Explorer, and the toolpaths are listed in the order in which they appear in the related NC program.

Setup Sheets frame displays the HTML page selected in the Index frame. By default the project title page is opened.

Tip: You can detach the browser page from the Explorer by double-clicking the tab. This is helpful if you want to see both the browser page and the Explorer simultaneously. Clicking on the icon of the detached browser docks the browser page back in the Explorer.

Before you preview or export setup sheets:

• Choose your template set.
• Take snapshots.
Tip: To remove the previewed setup sheets from the project folder, from the NC Programs context menu, select Setup Sheets > Delete All from the context menu.
