Use the individual Workplane menu to manage and edit the selected workplane.

To display the menu, in the Explorer, right-click an individual workplane.

Workplane Editor — Select to edit the location and orientation of the workplane using the Workplane Editor tab.

Transform — Select to display the Workplane Transform tab which enables you to create a new workplane by moving, rotating, or mirroring the selected workplane.

Add to Folder — Select to add the entity to the active folder. If the Folder option is unavailable then activate the folder.
Note: You can only add an entity to a folder within that entity type. For example, you cannot add a toolpath entity to a NC program folder.

Rename — Select to rename the entity.

Properties — Select to display the orientation of the workplane relative to the world (or global) coordinate system and the active workplane (if one exists). Elevation and Azimuth Angles are the angle of the Z axis of active workplane relative to the global coordinate system. The Angles are the rotations about the X axis, then Y axis, then Z axis, (in that order), which transform the axes aligned to the global coordinate system to the current workplane. Angles are given relative to both the global coordinate system and active workplane.

Copy Workplane — Select to copy the workplane.

Undo Last Edit — Select to undo the last transformation. For example, if you rotate the workplane by 30 then Undo Last Edit returns the workplane to what it was before the edit.

Redo Last Undone Edit — Select to redo the transformation you have just undone. In the above scenario, it reinstates the rotation of 30.

Clear History Buffers — Select to clear the history of the workplane transformations. This means that you cannot undo or redo any previous workplane transformations. You can undo or redo any subsequent workplane transformations.

For more information, see the Workplane undo example.

Unlock Workplane — Select to unlock the workplane for editing. This invalidates all references to the workplane.

Remove From Folder — Select to remove the workplane from the current folder.

Delete Workplane — Select to delete the workplane.
