Creating an arc with three points example

There are two ways of creating an arc with three points using the Curve Editor tab.

Creating an arc through three points on the arc

1. Click Curve Editor tab > Create panel > Circles & Arcs > Three Point Arc.
2. Select the start point of the arc.
3. Select the end point of the arc.
4. Select any mid point in the arc (this defines the radius of the arc).

   

Creating an arc through the centre and two points on the arc

1. Click Curve Editor tab > Create panel > Circles & Arcs > Centre Point Arc.
2. Select the centre point of the arc.
3. Select the start point of the arc (this defines the radius of the arc).

   

4. Select the end point of the arc.
