Individual Hole Feature Set menu

Use the individual Hole Feature Set menu to manage and edit the selected feature set.

To display the menu, in the Explorer, right-click an individual Hole Feature Set.

Activate — When selected, activates this hole feature set and de-activates any currently active hole feature set. When deselected, de-activates this hole feature set.

Activate Workplane — Select to activate the workplane used to create this hole feature set.

Draw — When selected, displays the hole feature set. Deselect to "hide" it. This option toggles between and .

Add to Folder — Select to add the entity to the active folder. If the Folder option is unavailable then activate the folder.
Note: You can only add an entity to a folder within that entity type. For example, you cannot add a toolpath entity to a NC program folder.

Export — Select to save holes as an *.xml file. It displays the Export Feature Set dialog.

Rename — Select to rename the entity.

Select Holes — Use to select holes by a number of different criteria.

Note: Selected hole features are yellow in the graphics window and the Explorer.

Select All — Use to select all of the hole features in the hole feature set (they turn yellow).

Invert Selection — Select to deselect the part of the hole feature set that is currently selected, and select the part of the hole feature set that is currently unselected.

Select Duplicates — Use to select all the duplicated hole features (where one hole feature lies exactly on top of another) in the hole feature set. This can be important when importing poorly defined data. Use this with the Hole Feature set > Edit > Delete Selected Features menu option to eliminate duplicates.

Deselect — Use to deselect any selected hole features (they turn white).

Selected Properties — Select to display the extents of the selected hole features in the hole feature set.

Sort selected — Select to sort the hole features in the same way you can sort for a drilling or area clearance toolpath.

Properties — Select to display the extents of the hole feature set.

Create Holes — Select to create holes, using the Create Hole dialog. For more information see Creating holes from a model.

Edit Holes — Select to display the parameters used to create hole features in the hole feature set. This displays the Edit Holes dialog.

Edit — Select to edit the hole feature set or hole features within the hole feature set.

Unlock Hole Feature Set — Select to unlock the hole feature set for editing. This overrides all locks on the hole feature set.

Remove From Folder — Select to remove the hole feature set from the current folder.

Delete Hole Feature Set — Select to delete the hole feature set.
