Displaying Macros in the Explorer

The Macros branch of the Explorer displays all the macros found in the macro search paths that you have specified. The macro search paths are scanned for macros whenever you expand the Macros branch of the Explorer by clicking on the expand button next to . The directories containing macros are also shown. However, the Explorer only displays directories that actually contain macros (files with the extension .mac).

Note: Take care when specifying macro search paths because, on a large disc, it can take some time for PowerMill to search all your paths. It is better to be specific about the pathnames you want to display (such as, D:/Pmill/WhatsNewXXXX/Macros) instead of using generic paths (such as D:/ or D-:/Pmill).
