You can edit primitive surfaces, including surfaces of revolution and extruded surfaces, in one of the following ways:
- With the surface selected, use its graphical handles to change the dimensions and orientation.
- Double-click the surface, and use the options on the primitive surface, Revolution or Extrusion dialog.
- Double-click a primitive block, sphere, cylinder, cone, torus or plane to display a surface dialog with two tabs.
- Double-click a spring to display the Spring dialog with three tabs.
- Use the edit option in the relevant context menu. The top of the context menu shows the type of surface, its name and the level on which it lies.
- Click Home tab > Utilities panel > Convert > Surface to convert a primitive to a power surface. Any future edits to the surface must be performed using power surfaces methods and not those used for primitives.
- You can simultaneously edit and orient multiple primitive surfaces.
