There are various ways to edit a view:
- Select the view and use the graphic handles to edit the view.
- Double-click the view to display the Edit View dialog.
- Right-click the view to display the context menu, and choose from the following options:
- Select
- Copy
- Delete

Modify — to display the Edit View dialog. When you select Modify, the ability to manipulate the model in the view is activated.

Hide background — Remove hidden lines from the view. Hidden lines are lines that are not seen on the real-life model from the current view. Background detail is also hidden in section views. If there are no items to hide, an error message is displayed. This option is an alternative to setting the view to Hidden from the Edit View dialog.

Hide Background (with Hidden Detail) — This option does the same as Hide,except that hidden lines are displayed as dashed lines.

Convert — Display the Convert View to Wireframe dialog to convert a view to wireframe.

Add/Remove Items — Display the Add/Remove Items dialog to add selected items to the view, or to remove selected items from the view.

Active — Activate or deactivate the current view.
