Create a Room
To place rooms in the building model, open a plan view and use the Room tool.
Place Rooms Automatically
Place rooms in all closed and bounded areas on the current level.
Select a Room
Select a room to check its boundaries, change its properties, remove it from the model, or move it to another location.
Control the Visibility of Rooms
By default, rooms do not display in plan views and section views. However, you can change visibility/graphic settings to make rooms and their reference lines visible in these views.
Copy a Room Between Phases
You can copy rooms from one phase to the next to preserve their properties.
Workflow: Linking an MEP Model to an Architectural Model
To share information about rooms and spaces in a model, an architect and a mechanical engineer can use linked models or worksharing.
