About Labeling Pipe Networks

You can add labels to pipe network parts either when you create the objects or after you create them.

When you create a pipe network, you can specify label styles for pipes and structures in plan view. You can use the Pipe Network Properties dialog box to change plan view label styles, or to specify label styles for profile and section views. If you select a label style of <none>, labels are not added.

Use the Add Pipe Network Labels option to access the Add Labels dialog box if you need to create or modify a style before labeling a pipe network.

Pipe network label types you can add after creation include entire network, single part, and spanning labels.

If desired, you can add a Material type to a pipe or structure label, as long as the Material property has been added to the part family that the pipe or structure part belongs to. You can also label hydraulic properties in pipe networks.

You can use the following commands to add labels to pipe network parts.
