Workflow: To Create Junctions

Refer to this section for high-level descriptions of tasks you might perform when working with junctions in Autodesk Civil 3D.

Set up data required for the junction You must have at least two alignments that intersect each other only once in your drawing. If you want to create a more realistic junction model, you will need road geometry and surface data.
Set the driving direction The driving direction option determines how corner radius are drawn when creating junctions.
Verify junction settings Use junction settings to specify the default behavior for junction-related commands.
Create the junction Use the Create Junction wizard.
Label the junction You can add labels to junction objects.
Edit the junction You can edit junctions using commands available from the ribbon, from right-click context menus, or by editing the objects directly in the drawing using grips.
