To Create and Edit a Pressure Network Profile View

Use the Pipe Run Profile Settings dialog box to refine offsets and modify or create profile views for a pressure network.

1. Select a pipe run in the pressure network. The Pressure Network Plan Layout tab opens.
2. On the Pressure Network Plan Layout tab, click Profile panel Pipe Run Profile Find.

   The Pipe Run Profile Settings dialog box opens.

3. Specify the following information for the profile view:
   • offset style (either at cut length or offset at bends)
   • offset reference profile
   • offset distance
   • whether to draw the profile in a new or existing profile view
4. If you want to specify an override for a station range, click the Overrides tab. Define a station range for the override and a reference profile to use for the override range.
5. Click OK.
   • If you chose to draw the profile in an existing profile view, you are prompted to select the profile in the drawing.
     Note: Path-based pressure network pipe run profiles are not editable when they are in a profile view whose associated alignment is not the pipe run alignment.
   • If you chose to draw the profile in a new profile view, the Create Profile View wizard opens.
