To Resolve Differences for a Linked Component

Update the component values to match the linked Inventor component.

1. Click Project tabProject Tools panelManager. Find

2. In the Project Manager, click the Location View tab.

3. In the Location View tab, select a linked component with differences.
4. Click Display Details and Connections.
5. In the Details and Connections pane, click the Details tab.
6. Do one of the following:
   • Click the row selector (heading) to select the entire row for your AutoCAD Electrical toolset component.
     
   • Click on an individual cell
     
7. Click Accept Inventor.

   If you have differences in the tag, installation, and location attributes—manually update the electrical component's value with the equivalent Inventor values since these attributes are not part of the Accept Inventor operation.

8. In the Insert/Edit Component dialog box, click OK to accept the Inventor part values.
9. If the catalog data is updated, click Yes to update all associated values such as MFG, assembly code, catalog number, rating, pin list, item number, panel footprint, and description for the selected component.
10. In the Location View tab, click Refresh to see the updated linked component in the component tree view.
