To Change the Slope/Taper Rate of a Taper/Slope Symbol (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)
In the drawing area, double-click the taper/slope symbol to edit.
In the Dimension text box, type the taper rate/slope value.
Tip:
To locate the Dimension text box, move the pointer over the boxes in the dialog box and inspect the tooltips.
To insert a special character in the dimension text, place the cursor at the position you want to insert the character and from the Insert symbol list, and then click the character.
