To Align the Reference Line of a Taper/Slope Symbol to the Baseline (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

1. In the drawing area, double-click the symbol to edit.
2. Click the Leader and Text tab.
3. Click the Adjust button. The dialog box hides.
4. Shift+Right-click the drawing area. AutoCAD Mechanical toolset displays a menu.
5. Click Parallel.
6. Move the pointer over the baseline until you see the parallel icon.
7. Move the pointer to the approximate position you intend to place the symbol. AutoCAD Mechanical toolset displays a dotted guide line that is parallel to the baseline.
8. Click the guide line. AutoCAD Mechanical toolset displays the dialog box again.
9. Click OK.
