To Delete a Leader or Leader Segments From a Balloon (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

1. In the drawing area, double-click the balloon to delete leader segments from. The Balloon dialog box is displayed.
2. In the toolbar of the Balloon dialog box, click .
3. In the drawing area, click the segment to delete.
   Note: If you select an internal leader segment, the program deletes all its successors. If you remove all leader segments, the program converts the balloon to a stand-alone balloon.
4. Click OK.
