To calculate the three-dimensional distance between two points

1. Click Home tab > Report panel > Dimensions > Distance: Two Points.
2. In the Distance: Two Points dialog, specify values for the options that follow. Options used in common by dimension dialogs are described in Dimension dialog options reference.
   • Name
   • Use nominals
   • Visible
   • Output in report
   • Simple measures behaviour
   • Reference point 1 and Reference point 2 — Select the points between which you want to calculate the distance.
   Note: Click to select an item from the CAD view using the mouse.
   • Distance — Enter the nominal and tolerances for the distance between the points.
