The Info tab displays information about the selected item in the inspection sequence within the current Measure. When <simulated measure> is selected in the Active measure list, thetab displays errors for the probe database of the program simulator; when Master Part is selected, the tab displays errors for the probe database of the measuring device.
PowerInspect uses two probe databases:
When you have completed the inspection sequence, check the Info tab of each item and fix any probe errors before running the sequence on the measuring device. Check for errors in <simulated measure> first, and then check for errors in Master Part.
This example illustrates the error that occurs when a probe that is not available in the probe database of the program simulator is assigned to measure an item:
shows the currently selected Measure;
<simulated measure> indicates the errors apply to the simulation probe database.
lists the probe status for each item with errors displayed in red.
describes the error. The
Tip Undefined error indicates the probe assigned to measure Plane 1 and Circle 1 is not available in
PowerInspect's probe database.
This example shows the error that occurs when the probe (or probe orientation) assigned to measure an item is available in the probe database of the measuring device, but is not calibrated:
shows the currently selected Measure;
Master part indicates the errors apply to the probe database of the measuring device.
lists the probe status for each item with errors displayed in red.
describes the error. The
Tip Uncalibrated
error indicates the probe is available for use, but it must first be calibrated using the
Machine tab.
