Add Parking Components

You can add parking spaces to a topography and define a toposolid as the parking component’s host.

You can also use sub-divisions to create road elements. See Sub-Divide a Toposolid.

To add parking components

1. Add a toposolid to the site and, if desired, create sub-divisions to create road elements. See Create a Toposolid by Sketching and Sub-Divide a Toposolid
2. Open a view that displays the toposolid.
3. Click Massing & Site tabModel Site panel (Parking Component).
4. Place the cursor on the toposolid and click to place the component. Place as many components as desired.

   You can create an array of parking components.

To rehost parking components

1. Select the parking components.
2. Click Modify | Parking tabHost panel (Pick New Host).
3. Select the toposolid.

   When you use the Pick Host tool, you are deliberately setting the parking component on top of the toposolid. If you move the parking component around on the toposolid, it remains attached to the toposolid.
