Live Data can come from logger flat files or telemetry feeds, and is specified in the Live Data Configuration object in InfoWorks WS Pro.
The following Live Data file formats are supported in InfoWorks:
Live Data is stored in the existing logger data file, and is not directly imported into InfoWorks. The Live Data Configuration provides the link between the InfoWorks model and the logger data files.
Telemetry feeds are stored in databases (supported databases types can be found in the Live Data Logon View topic) and are specified in the Live Data Feed View of the Live Data Configuration object. Connection to telemetry databases is defined in the Live Data Logon View.
To add a new logger data file to a Live Data Configuration:
Sensor Level, Offset and Factor information can be entered in the Live Data Point View or in the Live Data Point Property Sheet.
A logger data file can also be added to the Live Data Configuration using drag and drop directly from the Windows Explorer:
It is possible to add several logger data files at the same time when using the drag and drop method.
Adding a new live data feed to a Live Data Configuration is done via the Live Data Point View:
Offset and Factor information can be entered in the Live Data Feed View.
The Offset and Factor fields present in the Live Data Point View and the Live Data Point Property Sheet apply to Live Data Files only, and will be disabled for Live Data Feeds.
To delete one or more feeds or logger data files from a Live Data Configuration:
Deleting the reference to the feed / logger data file in the Live Data Configuration does not delete the feed / logger data file itself.
When connecting to Info360, users can manually enter data in the Live Data Configuration object or automatically update it with data from the Info360 database.
See Connecting to Info360 telemetry for further details.
