Identify Surfaces Slivers with the MAT
In the following steps we will be looking at the surface sliver in the model. Unintentional surface slivers can lead to poorly formed mesh elements, or a high element count, or meshing failures. These effects can lead to longer runtimes and may be difficult to troubleshoot.
Select Surface Slivers from the Model assessment tools drop-down menu.
Select one of the potential model issues.
Note: As expected, we are looking at the surface created by the small edges that we observed previously. When dealing with larger geometry sets, these surfaces may vary from what we can see in the small edges.
