Smart Bevel Enhancements
Smart Bevel now produces better output with improved speed and reliability.
Continued work on Smart Bevel in the 2027.2 release corrects various known issues and produces better output, improving the quality of the topology that it generates.
Major improvements have also been made to Smart Bevel's overall speed and reliability. These improvements are most noticeable when using Smart Bevel with dense meshes. Now when the modifier is applied, it processes results up to 20x faster with 22x less memory consumption. Even if you accidentally turn off the UnSmooth Edges and By Angle filter types, you can still dial in a result or correct from a mistake.
