Architects, engineers, and contractors use Revit Cloud Worksharing to collaborate concurrently on Revit models in the cloud.
Revit Cloud Worksharing allows you to collaborate on Revit models, leading to accelerated timelines and a more efficient project workflow. You can co-author cloud models, centralize all project design data, and improve communication and collaboration across the entire team.
See Getting Started for Administration.
Team members can see information for the projects for which they have access. They can share and access design data, discuss challenges and successes, and stay current with project activities.
Before Revit users collaborate on a model in the cloud, you must save the model to the cloud. During the save process, the following events occur:
When you save a cloud model and initiate worksharing, the project administrator can then invite team members to participate, and team members can access the project and related content based on their permissions.
As alternatives to using Revit Cloud Worksharing, you can use Revit Server to collaborate across a wide area network (WAN) or file-based worksharing to collaborate across a local area network (LAN).
