Support files let members of the same Autodesk Forma project work with one shared set of AutoCAD support files instead of using each individual AutoCAD installation. As a result, drawings open with the right project context in AutoCAD desktop or web.
When support files are configured, AutoCAD can automatically find required dependencies such as fonts, plot styles, templates, and other support files from the drawing’s project. Teams no longer need to manually set paths for every user, device, or project and helps them consistently use approved, up-to-date files without manually reconfiguring each AutoCAD installation for every project. As you move between projects, you do not need to change support paths or switch user profiles.

In the Library in Autodesk Forma, you can create templates for Connected Support Files that can be used across multiple projects.
