Runtime

There are essentially two types of pages on the Fusion Connect platform, though this distinction can be blurred at times. One type consists of the Design Tools detailed in the previous topic, and is used to customize the structure of an application.

These are the pages that typically require that a user be in Design Mode to access, and cannot, for the most part, be added to account menus on the Configure Menus page. The other pages of the platform are those through which a standard user experiences the application built using those design tools, and this experience of end users is referred to as Runtime. This topic will discuss all the runtime pages of the service.

• First, this topic will introduce the Account Dashboard, or informal homepage of an application.
• Next, the Submit Forms section will discuss the process by which end users can modify application data through the managed environment provided by forms.
• The View Reports and Trend Viewer sections will describe the ways in which an account user can view application data through different reports.
• The Data Import section will explain how a user can perform a bulk import of data from an external file into the system.
• Lastly, the Mobile Applications section will cover the experience of accessing an account through the Fusion Connect mobile application.
