Add Tools to a Machine

The steps below describe how to add tools to a machine.

To add tools to a machine:

  1. On the Installed Machines dialog, click Tools. The Edit Tools for Machine [Machine Name] dialog displays.
  2. Click Add Tool to display the Edit Tool Properties dialog.
  3. In the left pane, under Tools: Available, select the desired tool to add, then click the right arrow button to move this tool to the right (Selected) pane. Note that there may be a variety of tool types available. For example, there may be collections displayed for the following tool types: Cutting, Marking, Beveling, Printing, Drilling, Special, and Grooving.
  4. Scroll through the entire list to display all possible choices.
  5. When all the desired tools have been added to the Selected pane, click OK.
  6. On the Edit Tools for Machine [Machine Name] dialog, notice that the selected tools are now displayed in the left pane.

The desired tools are now successfully added to the selected machine. The next step is to configure the newly added tools.
