| classType |
Static function that all classes support that returns the type of the class as a string. The returned string matches the string returned by the objectType property. For example if you have a reference to an object and you want to check if it's a SketchLine you can use myObject.objectType == fusion.SketchLine.classType(). |

| createContourFlangeInput |

| createEdgeFlangeInput |

| item |
Function that returns the specified flange feature using an index into the collection. |
| itemByName |
Function that returns the specified flange feature using the name of the feature. |
| Name | Description |
| count | The number of flange features in the collection. |
| isValid | Indicates if this object is still valid, i.e. hasn't been deleted or some other action done to invalidate the reference. |
| objectType | This property is supported by all objects in the API and returns a string that contains the full name (namespace::objecttype) describing the type of the object. It's often useful to use this in combination with the classType method to see if an object is a certain type. For example: if obj.objectType == adsk.core.Point3D.classType(): |

| Flange Feature Sample | Demonstrates accessing and creating sheet metal flange features including base flange, contour flange, and edge flange. To run the sample script, have a design open in Fusion's DESIGN workspace that contains a sheet metal body in the root component. The body must have at least one linear edge on its outside that is valid for a flange. A design created with the Sheet Metal > Create > Flange commands, or any design containing a base flange, satisfies this. The script first iterates over any flange features that already exist in the design and reads the settings from each definition, so the reading portion reports nothing if the design has no flanges yet. It then finds the first linear edge on the first body in the root component and uses it to create a new edge flange feature. Reading the edges back from the created feature requires rolling the timeline marker to immediately before the feature, which the script does using TimelineObject.rollTo. |
