This tutorial guides you through setting up, duplicating, and arranging components for additive MJF (multi-jet fusion) printing using Fusion, ensuring efficient use of the printer’s build volume. MJF is a powder-bed-fusion technology ideal for high-volume production.
In this tutorial, you:
Open the sample file containing the components.
Create an additive MJF setup and select a printer.
Duplicate the components to ensure there are enough for an efficient print, maximizing the use of the printer’s build volume.
Arrange the components inside the printer’s build volume to optimize their placement and packing.
Check the arrangement statistics to verify the components are packed efficiently.
Fill the build volume with more components to use any remaining empty space, increasing productivity.
Check the arrangement statistics again to confirm that the new arrangement is still optimized.
