In the Drawing workspace in Fusion, you can set default preferences that will be applied to all new drawings and sheets that you create.

You can also adjust document settings for each drawing, and sheet settings for each individual sheet.

Drawing workspace preferences

The Drawing workspace preferences are located in the Preferences dialog in Fusion.

You can customize your default preferences, so that each drawing you create using the From Scratch option is already set up with your preferred settings.

Preferences include:

• ISO and ASME drafting standards
• Imperial or metric units
• Sheet size
• Projection angle
• Font
• Text height
• Dimension format, precision, units, and leading/trailing zeros
• Line widths

Document Settings

The Document Settings for each drawing are located in the browser.

You can adjust the document settings for each drawing, based on the requirements of the design. When you adjust the document settings, all sheets in the current drawing update to reflect the changes.

Some document settings are read-only once you create a drawing, because they are:

• inherited from the design
• controlled by the drafting standard
• or can only be specified when you first create a drawing.

Document settings include:

• ISO and ASME drafting standards
• Imperial or metric units
• Projection angle
• Font
• Text height
• Dimension units, format, precision, and leading/trailing zeros
• Line widths

The sheet settings for each sheet are located in the browser.

You can manage the sheet settings and visibility for each sheet, based on the requirements of the design.

Sheet settings include:

• ISO and ASME standard sheet sizes and border visibility
• Title block management and visibility

• English
• Spanish
• French
• Italian
• Japanese
• Korean
• Chinese

You can find the User Language settings in the General preferences in the Preferences dialog.
