Tutorial: Synchronizing designs

Under normal conditions of an orderly design process, schematics, board designs, and libraries update regularly and maintain synchronization. But this synchronization can be broken if documents are separated from their Electronics Design and modified independently. In such cases the Synchronizer can be used to restore synchronization.

In this tutorial you will use the Synchronizer for two activities:

• Restore synchronization between the schematic and the board in the same Electronics Design.
• Compare the components used in two variant designs.

You should have completed the Electronics tutorial Create a schematic design.
