Note: This content only applies if you're working in a hub with collaborative editing. Check for this icon collaborative editing next to the hub name to confirm you're using a collaborative editing hub. Learn about collaborative editing.

Hub administrators can edit a custom property's description, localized names and descriptions, and visibility settings. However, after a property is created, you cannot change the following:

Open a custom property

  1. Open the Fusion web client.

  2. In the upper-right corner, click your profile, then select Admin > Custom Properties.

  3. (Optional) Use search to find the property.

  4. Click the property row to open its details.

    The property side panel opens.

Edit visibility

You can change a property's visibility from either the side panel or the Edit property page.

In the side panel, toggle Visible on or off:

Note: An updated search experience is being rolled out gradually. If custom properties do not yet appear in search results, check back later.

Edit descriptions and localized values

You can edit the property description, localized names, and localized descriptions from the Edit property page.

  1. Open the Edit property page from the side panel using either of the following methods:

    • Click Edit pencil icon next to the description, a localized name, or a localized description.

    • Click More more at the top of the side panel, then select Edit property.

  2. Make your changes. On this page, you can:

    • Add to or update the description
    • Add, edit, or delete localized names
    • Add, edit, or delete localized descriptions
    • Toggle visibility on or off
  3. Click Save.
