Tutorial: Create a watering pail

This tutorial leads you through the steps to create a beveled watering pail with a handle and spout. You will use a spline and sweep to create a path and shape for the handle, as well as construction planes, ellipses (as profiles) and lofts to create a spout.

In this tutorial, you:

• Create an initial box for the pail, with a collapsed bottom and beveled edges
• Create a handle for the pail
• Create a spout for the pail
• Connect the spout, thicken the walls, and create a hole on top of the pail
