Autodesk Civil 3D |
- Import (.DWG, .IMX): Bring detailed designs from an Autodesk Civil 3D DWG drawing into your Autodesk InfraWorks model using an Autodesk Civil 3D DWG drawing or IMX file as a data source.
- Export (.IMX): An Autodesk Civil 3D user can also bring Autodesk InfraWorks model data into Autodesk Civil 3D by referencing an IMX file that was exported from an Autodesk InfraWorks model.
- Direct Connection: Autodesk Civil 3D users with Autodesk InfraWorks installed locally can open an Autodesk InfraWorks model directly in Civil 3D.
- Mixed Workflow: Use the publish civil structures command in Autodesk InfraWorks to send parametric bridges or tunnels to Autodesk Civil 3D or Autodesk Revit. You can also update your InfraWorks model with changes made in Civil 3D or Revit. See Civil Structures Workflow
|
- Import (.DWG, .DXF): Terrain surfaces, component roads, coverage areas, pipelines with inlets and manholes or pipeline connectors.
- Export (.IMX): TIN surfaces, pipe networks (undefined), alignments, ground profiles, intersections with curb return alignments, roundabouts with alignments and ground profiles, 3D solids, pipe networks, 3D polylines.

Autodesk Formit Pro |
- Import (.DAE, .FBX): Export a Collada (.DAE) file or .FBX file (with version higher than "FBX201200") from Autodesk Formit Pro, then import as a 3D model object into Autodesk InfraWorks. Using .FBX will retain texture materials applied to the 3D model in Autodesk Formit Pro.
- Export (.OBJ, .DAE): Export a Collada (.DAE) file or .OBJ file from Autodesk InfraWorks for use in Autodesk Formit Pro.
