File input and output hotkeys

If a shortcut entry is blank in the shortcut table it means that there is currently no shortcut assigned to the action, but it is available for reassignment. See Customize keyboard shortcuts for information on how to reassign keys for different actions.

Create a new scene Ctrl + N Command + N Clears the current scene and creates a new one.
Open a scene Ctrl + O Command + O Loads a saved scene, replacing the current scene.
Save current scene Ctrl + S Command + S Saves the current scene.
Save Scene As Ctrl + Shift + S Command + Shift + S Saves the current scene with a new name.
Save screen image Opens the Save Screen Image window.
Save selected textures
Save textures Ctrl + Shift + T Command + Shift + T
Export faces
Delete Faces Deletes selected faces.
Note:

You can only delete faces when the mesh has a single level with no sculpt layers. You must delete any higher subdivision levels before attempting to delete faces from the base level. To do this, display the lowest subdivision level, then select Mesh > Delete Highest Level until only the base level remains.

Export an image of the current 3D View as a paint layer to Photoshop (.psd) Alt + E Option + E Opens the Export Screen Image to PSD window, letting you set options for exporting the image. Photoshop starts (if it is installed). See Export a paint layer of the 3D View to Photoshop.
Re-import a paint layer (image) of the 3D View updated in Photoshop. Alt + R Option + R Re-imports an image from Photoshop and projects it onto the object in the 3D View as required. See Export a paint layer of the 3D View to Photoshop.
Scene log for Interop Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R Lists the history of commands, actions, and other information, in the order in which they occurred in your current Mudbox session.

Exit Ctrl + Q Command + Q Quits Mudbox.
View Mudbox Help F1 F1 Opens the Mudbox Help in a web browser.
