Workstation installation

RPM (Red Hat Package Manager) is a powerful open source package manager for Red Hat based systems like (RHEL, CentOS and Fedora). The Simulation Compute Manager starts automatically when it is installed by the rpm mechanism, and runs as a standard systemd service.

There are several files that control the actions of the Simulation Compute Manager. In the normal course of operation, you need not alter these files. Advanced configuration options are detailed in the Simulation Compute Manager Configuration portion of this documentation.
