To Set Up an External Archive Program

Choose Customize > Preferences.
Click the Files tab to display the Files panel.
In the Program File Path field of the Archive System group, enter the full file path of the archive program you would like to use.
Note: The MaxZip archive utility does not require a full file path, which is why the default value of this text field is maxzip.
In the Command-Line Options field of the Archive System group, enter any command-line options required by the archive program you selected to create an archive file. For example:
- 7-Zip requires the command-line option a
- WinZip requires the command-line option -a
- WinRAR requires the command-line option a
- MaxZip does not require any command-line options to create an archive.
