To Add Wire Information to Footprints

Inserts schematic wire connection information on to panel footprint representations.

1. Click Panel tabInsert Component Footprints panelWire Annotation. Find
2. Specify to export the data for the active drawing or the entire project and click OK.
3. Select the wire numbering format to use.
4. Select the layout devices to update with the schematic wire connection information.
5. Click OK.
6. If you are exporting the data for the entire project, select the drawings to process, and click OK.

Note: In the Project Properties dialog box (Wire Numbers tabWire Annotations), you can enable or disable wire number annotation updates during project-wide or drawing-wide wire number updates for panel footprints and terminal block representations, including graphical terminal strips, tabular terminal strips, and jumper charts.
