To Create a Sync Schedule

Use the sync settings to specify the synchronization schedule between Inventor and AutoCAD Electrical toolset for your electromechanical project.

1. Click Project tabProject Tools panelManager. Find

2. In the Project Manager, click the Location View tab.

3. In the Location View tab, click Settings.

   Note: The Settings button appears when you have a linked AutoCAD Electrical toolset and Inventor project.
4. On the Sync Settings dialog box, specify how you want the synchronization process to run and the sync interval.
5. Click OK.

By default, sync happens in the background. You can continue working on your drawing canvas during the sync. To change the sync behavior, use the system variable AEEMXDATAUPDATEMODE.
