Discussions provide a way for you to have conversations within a project. Everyone in a project can view and participate in discussions. Additionally, project members can invite specific participants to a discussion. Participants receive notifications when project members respond to discussions.
Ways to Use Discussions
You can use discussions in a variety of contexts as you work within your project.
- Inform: Bring something to the notice of all project members. This can include a new or updated wiki page on Standard Operating Procedures.
- Record issues and their resolution: Use discussions as a way to have conversations about issue and their resolution.
- Share links
Access Discussions
To access discussions, click Discussions within your project.

Starting and responding to a Discussion
- To start a discussion, open the project in which you want to start a discussion > Discussions > Start a new discussion.
- Enter a title and description > Post.
- To respond to a discussion, find or open the discussion > Reply.
- Enter a response > Post.
Viewing, Opening, and Finding Discussions
- Click the discussion within the Activity Feed on the Projects page or within a project.
- Access discussions within the project.
Discussions are listed in chronological order based on when they were first posted.
To view the whole discussion, hover over the discussion and click
You can also search for discussions using words that are in the title of the discussion.
To delete a discussion

> Delete.
