Overview of Design Files

Design files, both 2D and 3D, typically include data that tell the whole story of the design. In A360, this information is displayed under Related Data on the Overview page.

For Fusion designs and assemblies, the Overview page also shows the relationship of a file with other design files. This information is displayed under Design References on the Overview page.

About Design References

The following types of design relationships, if available for a Fusion design or assembly, are shown under Design References on the Overview page.
  • Uses: this design uses (this design’s child relationships)
  • Used In: this design is used in (the design’s parent relationship)
  • Drawings: 2D drawings of the design
If a Design Reference has been updated, it is tagged with either New version available or Out of date.

About Design Data
