Create liquid simulations

The Bifrost graph makes it easy to create high-quality liquid simulations. It uses a FLip (Fluid Implicit Particle) solver for realistic results, and spatial adaptivity to keep memory usage low while still providing detail where it is needed.

Waterfall made in the Bifrost graph

The current solver is best suited for large-scale, non-viscous fluids. It's not ideal for close-ups of small droplets, nor does it allow you to use a BOSS simulation to guide the liquid — for either of these situation, you can use the older, non-graph-based system available from the Bifrost Fluids menu in Maya.

Check out the sample liquid scenes available in the Bifrost Browser.
