Assets on 3D Models in the Mobile BETA Viewer

Enable the BETA Viewer

1. In the Autodesk Construction Cloud app, navigate to the Files tool.

2. Tap on a model to open it in the viewer.

3. In the banner at the top, tap Turn on BETA viewer!.

   The banner will collapse to the left and remain there so that you can always switch back to the existing viewer.

Work with Assets in the BETA Viewer

View and track assets in the viewer in the context of the 3D model they are mapped to.

1. In the Autodesk Construction Cloud app, navigate to the Files tool.

2. Tap on a model to open it in the viewer.

3. Tap at the top of the viewer.

4. Tap Assets.

   

   Assets are displayed in the model, and a panel containing a list of the assets extracted from the selected model is displayed at the bottom of the viewer.

   Note: If you choose a specific 3D view in the model, the asset list is filtered to include only those assets visible in the selected view.

5. Use the panel to search for assets by name, and filter and sort the assets list.

6. Tap on an asset in the list. The camera zooms in to the selected asset and the asset details are displayed in the panel.

7. Use the Details tab to view and edit asset details.

8. Use the References tab to add references to files, forms, issues, photos and videos, RFIs, and sheets as needed.
