The following are frequently asked questions about inviting members.

What does entering a name do?

If the person doesn't have an Autodesk ID, suggestions are offered when entering a name. People can control how their name appears through their profile at manage.autodesk.com. You can't change someone else's name; they have to manage it on their profile.

Does inviting someone to a project assign a subscription?

Only Autodesk Build Unlimited subscriptions can be assigned automatically. All other subscriptions must be assigned by an account administrator.

How come some people have more filled out when they are added to the add members table?

Names are brought in from their Autodesk profile. Other information like role, company, or access level can come from member settings in Account Admin.

Why does Access Level change when I select a role?

Access levels are defined in the Roles tool in Account Admin. Selecting a role that is defined as a project administrator changes their access to project administrator. You can manually change that selection during the invitation process.
