Edit Project Template Details and Permissions

In a project template, you can edit the template name and apply template settings. You can also manage which members can create projects from this template and contribute to its content.

When you create a template, you will land on the Configuration page in the Project Admin product. Otherwise, use the left navigation menu and click Configuration in the Template Setup section.

  1. (Only available in Project Admin) Create a project from this template.
  2. Create a copy of this project template.
  3. Archive the template.
  4. General section: Click Pencil icon to edit the template name.
  5. Advanced section: Click the toggle on to make the template available to all members who can create projects.

Edit Project Template Permissions

In Permissions tab, you can add, edit, or remove template members who can use this template to create projects or contribute to it.

  1. Click the Permissions tab.

  2. To add members, click Add template members.

  3. Enter a name or email and specify their company and role. Select their access level for this template. Determine which products they can access within the template.

    Note: Project administrators can edit the template contents. Project members can only view the contents.

  4. To edit or remove members, click a member in the list.

  5. To edit a member's company, role, or access to products within the template, make the desired edits in the panel.

  6. To remove, click More menu icon at the top right of the panel and select Remove member. Confirm your selection in the pop-up window.
