Respond to Issues in Docs
When an issue is created using the Issues tab in the viewer in Model Coordination, an email notification is sent to the assignee. It contains a link to open and respond to the issue in the Issues tool in Docs.
Open the email notification and click View Issue.
The issue is opened in the Issues tool in Docs.
Note: These issues can also be accessed in the Issues tool in Model Coordination. We recommend that you view and respond to issues in Model Coordination, as described in Review and Respond to Issues.Use the Details tab in the issue panel to review the issue, including the model the issue is placed in, the ID numbers of the clashing objects if relevant, the due date, and location. You can also see any attached references and comments.
Tip: Click the model name in the Placement column to open the model in the viewer. Open the Details tab in the issues panel to view the issue details along side the model.View previous activity on the issue using the Activity log tab.
Optionally, go to Model Coordination and follow the Issue Assignee steps to view any clashing objects if relevant.
Tip: When the required model changes have been made, you can compare 3D model versions in Docs to see the changes. Upload the latest version of the model to the coordination folder and then return to Model Coordination to check that the clash has been resolved. When the clash or coordination issues are progressed, use the Status drop-down list to change the issue status to reflect the progress.
The issue creator can then review the issue activity, view the latest model version to confirm that there is no longer a clash (if relevant), and change the issue status to Closed.
