Sheet Management

Sheet Management allows the user to keep control of the sheets in stock and also to keep a record of the left-over part of a sheet and save it for further usage. Below is a brief overview of the Sheet Management system. This enables users to maximize their sheets by using as much of the sheet as possible. If sheet management is not used, the user has no way of knowing what is left over on sheets used. Sheet Management helps to maximize the economy of the sheet. Materials set up within Sheet Management must use materials already set up in the Materials tab within the Main Database. This is particularly useful for users of thicker materials and more expensive materials such as Stainless Steel.

  • Sheets are added through sheet management and assigned a material and gauge.
  • Sheets are then added to a job and nested on.
  • Remnants are saved back into sheet management to be used again in future jobs.
  • The percentage of sheet used is displayed.
